Robbie Williams Ayda Field wife in Los Angeles

British singer Robbie Williams has married his girlfriend, actress Ayda Field, at a ceremony Saturday at their villa in Los Angeles, said Sunday his spokesman.

Robbie Williams and Ayda Field were married yesterday, Aug. 7, at a ceremony held in the home they shared in Los Angeles, "said the singer's spokesman Murray Chalmers.

Robbie Williams, 36, had wanted to keep secret details of the ceremony till the last moment. Several tents had been planted in the garden of the star in Beverly Hills, according to photos published in several newspapers.

"Rob is finally happy," he told Pete Conway, the father of the singer, the British tabloid News of the World. "Ayda is so beautiful, delicious and delightful, perfect for him. They are superbly well together."

"I do not yet have grandchildren. Those are my first Rob. I'm glad he started a family (...) He'll maybe SAHD, who knows. But I think that it will continue to make his music, "continued the father.

"That's what everyone wants for his children and he is as happy as I've never seen," welcomed Pete Conway, who came from Stoke-on-Trent, central England, which grew Robbie Williams.

The singer's father did not think, however, he will return to live in Britain. "Rob sees himself living in Los Angeles now. This Hyder wants to live. And his mother is there," he said.

The partners of the singer in the band Take That, warned at the last moment could not go to the ceremony but sent messages, the newspaper said.

The singer met the actress, now aged 31 years in 2006 and proposed to her last November during a live broadcast on Australian radio, the newspaper said.

Robbie Williams put together a string of love affairs with pop stars and actresses of Hollywood before you settle down after meeting Ayda Field.

One of Britain's most famous singers on the international scene, Robbie Williams has sold over 65 million albums in fifteen years.

He had separated from the group Take That in 1995 after having sold 15 million records. The singer and the group officially announced their meeting last month.
